The Plan – Our Mission

We started this site in order to remind people of what a scumbag Michael Vick is. Of course this site could never do that unless people see it. That’s why our mission is to get this site to be the first hit in Google, Bing and other search engines when people search for “Michael Vick”. This will not be an easy task.

Right now searches for Michael Vick bring up his Wikipedia page as the first hit. As far as Wikipedia pages go, Vick’s is huge. He is a scumbag who’s had multiple problems with the law, and he’s still a starting quarterback in the NFL. He is one of the most controversial people in sports, so there’s a lot of activity on his Wiki page. Unseating this page as the first search engine hit for Michael Vick will not be easy.

Other websites on both Google’s and Bing’s first page for Vick’s name are his profile pages for the NFL, ESPN and Yahoo Sports. These pages rank well because they exist on huge sites that point a lot of links toward their Vick profile page. Vick’s Yahoo profile page is linked to by every Yahoo Sports article that mentions Vick, and they have literally thousands of articles. The same is true for the NFL and ESPN sites, except they also have for a few random sites linking to them too.

The Official Website of Michael Vick is also in both search engines’ top ten. Fortunately for our purposes, this site doesn’t have much content or backlinks.

These are the only sites listed on both first pages as of today. While we need to be aware of the other sites in the top ten on one, but not the other, we won’t focus any attention on them. As long as we can beat the sites I mentioned before, we’ll beat these other sites too.

This is our analysis of our main competition. We know what we are up against, and we’re fairly confident that we can take the #1 spot for Michael Vick within a year for Google. It will take time, but we have time and a pretty good plan to take the top spot. Wish us luck.

What’s wrong with the president of the Humane Society?

Wayne Pacelle, the president of the Human Society recently said the he would support Michael Vick owning a dog again in the future. Would Pacelle also allow a convicted child molester to adopt a kid? How about a felon who tortured and starved kids and forced them to fight to the death? Sick individuals like this are often repeat offenders. There are reasons why pedophiles have to notify their neighbors when they move into the neighbor.

Michael Vick fought dogs for over 6 years! His own father Boddie Vick said, “This is Mike’s thing. And he knows it … likes it, and he has the capital to have a setup like that.” Before the Bad Newz Kennels ever existed, Michael was fighting dogs in the family’s backyard, including dogs that were “bit up, chewed up, exhausted.”

Yet Pacelle has said, “”I have been around him a lot, and feel confident that he would do a good job as a pet owner.” Is this guy retarded? Does he need a reminder of what happen the last time Vick was a “pet owner”?

Here’s a reminder. Vick and company “beat the dogs against walls until they’re dead, hang, electrocute or drown them.” This sick and twisted behavior is not normal. This is a rare form of cruelty, one that I doubt Pacelle will ever understand. This douchebag is in no place to say that Vick should ever have a dog again.

Dog fighting is “Mike’s thing… he likes it”. Apparently Wayne Pacelle’s thing is being a moron.

Thankfully the ASPCA, PETA and other animal organizations have voiced strong opposition to Vick ever owning a dog again. Pacelle seems to be the only retard.

Michael Vick cancels on Oprah

Michael Vick canceled his appearance on Oprah, scheduled to tape and air next week, and there have been a lot of rumors as to why. They all vary slightly but the underlying theme was that Vick found out that Oprah was not going to give him a free pass, and she was planning on digging into this dog fighting past.

While the NFL and sports media seemed to have moved on from Vick’s dog fighting, herpes infecting, steroid using days, Oprah’s audience has probably not.

Vick canceled the interview and released a statement saying, “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for Feb. 22. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.”
His spokesman Chris Shigas added that “Mike postponed the taping because of the timing of the interview for personal and professional reasons,” but Fox 29 in Philadelphia recently reported that the Philadelphia Eagles had something to do with it.

The Eagles reportedly “voiced objections” to Vick’s appearance on Oprah, and we understand why. The Eagles just put an “exclusive” franchise tag on Vick earlier this week meaning that he’s going to be an Eagle for at least the 2011 season. Now that Vick is an Eagle for the foreseeable future, I’m sure that the team would rather that he lay low than gamble with his reputation on Oprah’s show.

Regardless of whether one thinks Vick wasn’t punished enough or should not have been allowed back on the football field, there is little to be gained by him going on Winfrey’s show so soon after his return. Those who loathe him for what he did won’t be persuaded to think otherwise after an hour on Winfrey’s couch. Those who have moved on don’t need to be given a reason to reassess their opinion.

See the Fox report below.

UPDATE – We got word that Oprah’s show was working on the story with the dogs and rescuers. Apparently she sent film crews to capture their side on the story. Let’s hope she still airs that!

Michael’s little brother Marcus Vick has some highlights too

So this site is dedicated to the scumbag Michael Vick, but you might be interested to know that his little brother Marcus is quite the scumbag too. I guess it runs in the family.

Let’s take a look at some of Marcus’s career highlights.

September 2003 – In his redshirt freshman season at Virginia Tech, Marcus was suspended for one-game for undisclosed reasons.

January 2004 – Marcus, who was 20 years old at the time, was charged with having sex with a 15 year old girl and providing alcohol to three underage girls. The 15 year old girl refused to testify, but Marcus was sentenced to 30 days in jail for three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He appealed and ended up doing no jail time.

Summer 2004 – Marcus was charged with reckless driving and possession of marijuana. He lost his drivers license and was temporarily suspended from Virginia Tech.

October 2005 – Marcus gave the middle finger to fans during a game at West Virginia University. His big brother Michael did the same thing to about year later to fans in Atlanta.

December 2005 – Marcus was charged with speeding and driving on a suspended license. This was his ninth driving offense since 2002.

January 2006 – During the Gator Bowl, Marcus stomped on the leg of an opposing player who was in a defenseless position on the ground. After the game, the referee apologized for not seeing it and said he would have thrown Marcus out of the game if he had. Marcus claimed that he apologized to the other player, but the player said he never did. Less than a week later, Marcus was kicked off of the Virginia Tech football team, “due to a cumulative effect of legal infractions and unsportsmanlike play”.

January 2006 (again) – Marcus got into an argument with 3 teenagers in a McDonalds parking lot and pulled a gun on them. Charges were eventually dropped.

December 2006 – A 17-year old girl filed a lawsuit against Marcus accusing him of molestation of a minor, fraud and other charges. She claimed she had sex with Vick for two years, starting when she was 15 years old, and Marcus offered her alcohol and marijuana and forced her to have sex with other men. The lawsuit was settled in 2008.

June 2008 – After trying to outrun the cops, Marcus was charged with DUI, eluding police, driving on the wrong side of a street, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. During booking he listed his address as a house belonging to his brother, Michael Vick. Marcus received a suspended jail sentence of 12 months.

August 2009 – A judge revoked Marcus’s suspended sentence and sent him to jail for violating his probation. Marcus did not complete an alcohol education program, he tested positive for marijuana, he missed appointments, and he failed to pay court costs and fines.

At least Marcus “New Mexico” Vick never tortured animals or knowingly gave girls genital herpes (that we know about). He’s still a pretty big scumbag though. I guess he turned out the way you would expect him to, growing up and looking up to a big brother like Michael Vick.

Michael Vick – The Gambler

If there is one thing that the National Football League hates it’s gambling. They consistently lobby the government to restrict all forms of sports betting in the US. It’s likely that the NFL is scared that sporting betting can corrupt the league by tempting players and refs who have the abilities to change the outcome of games with big paydays coming from Las Vegas.

This is why Michael Vick had to deny wagering on his dog fights, even though he eventually admitted to owning the dog fighting operation. But did Vick really bet on these fights?

In 2007 a police informant speaking with anonymity told ESPN that Vick is, “a heavyweight. He’s one of the ones they call the big boys. He bets a large dollar; $30,000 – $40,000.”

One of Michael Vick’s co-defendants also said that Vick basically funded the entire operation, even the bets. A federal indictment stated that, “The ‘Bad Newz Kennels’ operation and gambling monies were almost exclusively funded by Vick.”

It’s pretty obvious that Vick was gambling on these fights, yet he denied, denied and denied, and it’s amazing that some people still took him at his word. The NFL commission seemed to when he issued a statement to Vick stating that “your actions in funding the betting and your association with illegal gambling both violate the terms of your NFL player contract and expose you to corrupting influences in derogation of one of the most fundamental responsibilities of an NFL player.”

The fact that Vick never admitted to betting on the dog fights might be one of the reasons that he is still in the NFL today. After all the sports community may be able to tolerate killing dogs by various methods including wetting one dog down and electrocuting her, hanging, drowning and shooting others and by slamming a dog’s body to the ground, but just ask Pete Rose what they think of gambling.

Michael Vick going on Oprah

It’s been reported that Michael Vick is going to appear on the February 22nd taping of the Oprah Winfrey show, and Change.org drafted an excellent letter that you can send to the show, voicing your concern about this interview. They also created a petition asking that Oprah donate the money that she gets for the Michael Vick interview to the Vick Dog’s at the Best Friends Animal Society or BAD RAP.

“Success on the football field shouldn’t overshadow the fact that Michael Vick not only enjoyed watching dogs maim and kill each other, but was also charged with taking part in brutally killing dogs by hanging, shooting, electrocuting and drowning the animals. Others have received sentences of 5 to 10 years in prison for this kind of crime; Vick was behind bars for less than two and was immediately reinstated to his privileged professional football career.” – read the whole letter here.

I doubt Oprah will end up on our list of douchebags by having Vick on her show. Of course we’ll wait and see how the interview plays out before we make that call.

An animal sanctuary hopes to buy Michael Vick’s house

A nonprofit organization Dogs Deserve Better wants to purchase Vick’s former house and site of a dog fighting organization to use as an animal rehab center. They are currently in contract and have to raise $595,000 to complete the purchase. So far they have raised about $50,000, and they are accepting donations online.

The group is planning for massive renovation of the property which will include a memorial for the dogs killed. Dogs available for adoption will live in the 4,600 square foot house which will also include the organization’s offices.

The house last sold to a developer in 2007 for $450,000, who invested an additional $50,000 in the property. It has sat empty and unsold ever since.

If you would like to contribute to the “Good Newz Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs,” you can do so online at the Dogs Deserve Better website or via their Facebook page.

Vick refuses to see one of his dogs

After Vick is given “the key to the City of Dallas” by a massive douchebag, he was approached by Richard Hunter, who adopted one of the dogs that was rescued from Vick’s dog fighting ring. Hunter recorded it on video.

Although it isn’t mentioned in the video, Hunter’s dog named Mel still cowers in a corner with his cuddle toy and becomes paralyzed in fear whenever a man enters the room. The emotional damage that Vick and company inflicted on this this dog will be with him for the rest of his life.

It’s obvious in the video that Vick doesn’t care. His bodyguards curse at Hunter, and Vick does the best he can to ignore the man that took in one of his dogs.

Mayor Por Tem of Dallas Dwaine Caraway is a massive douchebag

Dwaine Caraway is the pro tem mayor of the City of Dallas that gave Michael Vick a key to the city. Let’s list the reasons why Caraway is a douchebag.

#1. He gave the “key to the city” to a convicted felon, still on parole.

#2. He gave the “key to the city” to the starting quarterback of the rival Philadelphia Eagles. Not only did he give the key to someone who has no real association with the city of Dallas, he gave it to a guy who is only in Dallas once a year, and it’s when he is playing against the Cowboys. Way to support the home team douchebag.

#3. Caraway is the “Mayor Por Tem” and apparently this position does not have the authority to give anyone the key to the city. The real mayor of Dallas, Tom Leppert, said “The action taken was not sanctioned by my office and was not an official ceremonial honor on behalf of the City of Dallas. Official Keys to the City are presented by the Mayor, or an elected official designated by the Mayor, and reserved, on a limited basis, for an elected official of international status. Clearly, this was not the case in this situation and done without my knowledge or approval.”

To summarize Dwaine Caraway held a ceremony to give a convicted felon who has no association with the City of Dallas a fake “key to the city”. This is why Caraway is a massive douchebag.

Michael Vick Highlights – Vick Linked to Steroid Use

In January of 2010, The Dallas Morning News reported that a steroid trafficker named David Jacobs told the newspaper he supplied Michael Vick with performance-enhancing drugs when Vick was the quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons.

The DEA said Jacobs used to run one of the largest steroid networks in the country before he was arrested in May 2007. Jacobs was also sharing information with the NFL regarding steroid users in the league until he committed suicide in 2008.

Earlier the same month The Smoking Gun reported that a DEA informant had told agents that Michael Vick once spoke about steroids with a dealer, telling the man that he “liked his product.”

Of course, Michael Vick (like some many other pro-athletes accused of take steroids) denied these allegations.

Vick did tested positive for marijuana in 2007 when he was first indited for dog fighting, so he isn’t the type of guy who wouldn’t use an illegal drug just because it was illegal. A confidential witness who helped agents build a case against Vick also recalled selling Vick three pit bulls and “1/2 ounce of marijuana (weed).”
